It began in 1929, when Kalliyath Abdul Khader Haji opened a small trading venture in Tirur, Malappuram. What started with clothes and hardware soon grew into something far bigger, a legacy in steel.
The 2000s marked a turning point. The group set up manufacturing units in Palakkad, becoming Kerala's first TMT bar manufacturer in 2008 and the first in the state to earn BIS certification. Over the years, Kalliyath continued to break barriers, launching India's first cut-and-bend bars, exporting steel, and introducing automated rolling mills.
