Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coated Rebars

Kalliyath TMT’s Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coated rebars offer advanced steel reinforcement designed to withstand harsh environments and extend the life of steel structures, making them a superior alternative to conventional rebars.
The coating process begins with blast cleaning and induction heating, followed by electrostatic spraying of epoxy powder that fuses seamlessly to form a protective layer up to 300 microns thick. The bars are then gradually cooled to retain their mechanical properties and tested as per ASTM A775 standards for flexibility, bend, and holiday tests.
